Everyone is invited to the upcoming Wellbeing in Motherwell Day showcasing local health, wellbeing, and social care services available in the community.
The event is being hosted at the Forgewood Community Centre, however everyone across North Lanarkshire is welcome to come along to the informative day which will run between 10am-1pm on Thursday 08 May.
Free to attend, the event is dedicated to helping encourage ongoing positive engagement between the community and health and social care services. People will be able to learn more about local health services, find support groups, or simply enjoy a day out with family and friends.
Information stands will feature teams from NHS Lanarkshire, social work, University Health & Social Care North Lanarkshire, SAMH, the Period Dignity team, Community Learning and Development, the wise Group, the Health & Wellness Hub and Routes to Work, and many more.
Evelyn Ryan, service manager – Motherwell Locality, University Health & Social Care North Lanarkshire, said: “We’re looking forward to the community joining us for a great day of learning and fun.
“We have a wide range of services and partner organisations joining us on the day so everyone will have the chance to meet experts, gather valuable information, and take part in a whole range of activities.

“We’re lining up a fun day for everyone while showcasing the supports available from community services and the wider community.”
