Powered by Phio
Your fastest route to Physiotherapy support
To ensure you receive the right care at the right time, please take a moment to read the information below before starting your assessment.
✅ Who Can Use Phio?
Phio is available to anyone aged 16 or over who is registered with a GP practice in NHS Lanarkshire. If you have a joint or muscle problem you can access Phio on any device with internet access. Phio offers a quick and easy way to get the right care, without needing to wait for a GP or Physio appointment.
How it works:
- You will complete a 10-15 minute digital assessment.
- Your answers will be reviewed by qualified physiotherapists.
- You will be signposted to the most appropriate care pathway. This may be an appointment within the NHS Lanarkshire MSK Physiotherapy service, or a self-management app with exercises you can follow at home.
Phio also checks for any urgent symptoms and will guide you to Urgent Care or your GP Practice if needed.
You can use Phio if:
- You live in North or South Lanarkshire
- You are aged 16 or over
(If you’re under 16, please speak to your GP about a referral) - You are able to attend an outpatient appointment if needed
- You are willing to take part in a rehabilitation programme, which may include changes to your behaviour or lifestyle
- You can spend around 15 minutes completing the online form
