Briefings and newsletters

During Summer 2024 a series of weekly briefings on the Primary Care Action Plan was issued to GPs, practice managers and the management teams of NHS Lanarkshire, University Health and Social Care North Lanarkshire and South Lanarkshire University Health and Social Care Partnership. The In Touch newsletters were used to provide updates to local GPs, practice managers and key stakeholders on the progress of the Primary Care Improvement Plan (PCIP). In Lanarkshire, the PCIP supported the delivery of the national GMS 2018 contract. Recently, the focus has moved to delivering the Primary Care Action Plan (see briefings above).
