NHS Lanarkshire is holding drop-in clinics this week for second doses of the covid-19 vaccine. They are open to anyone who lives in Lanarkshire who has waited 12 weeks or more since their first dose.
The clinics will all take place at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility in Motherwell on:
- Wednesday 16 June from 1.30pm to 3.30pm
- Thursday 17 June from 1.30pm to 3.30pm
- Friday 18 June from 1.30pm to 3.30pm
Dr Mark Russell, Lead for the covid-19 vaccination programme in Lanarkshire, said: “We would encourage anyone who has waited 12 weeks or more since their first dose of the covid-19 vaccine, and who has not yet received an appointment for their second dose, to come along to one of our drop-in clinics. Receiving both doses of the covid-19 vaccine is really important as it provides long-lasting protection.”
Once you’ve been vaccinated, it is still important to stick to the FACTS guidance and follow the rules of the covid-19 protection level we are currently in.
