Healthy Lifestyles in Pregnancy Service
The Healthy Lifestyles in Pregnancy Service consists of a specialist midwife, dietitian and physiotherapist and provides support and advice on food and drink choices, good nutrition for you and your baby, exercise and care of the body in pregnancy as well as additional midwifery support.
The service is available to all pregnant women with a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 30 or above.
Support is available from the team for the duration of your pregnancy and into the early postnatal period.
The service is offering a blended model of face to face appointments and virtual Near Me appointments.
For face to face appointments, clinics will be delivered across Lanarkshire. Efforts will be made to provide an appointment in a Health Centre most suitable to the service user to reduce the need to travel.
For general enquiries and referral to the service, please contact your community midwife.
