Children's Services
A dedicated Children’s Services structure
NHS Lanarkshire has a dedicated Children’s Services structure to integrate many of the professions that are dedicated specifically for children. It develops closer links between the existing professionals who care for children by ensuring improved communication between these groups. It is a Lanarkshire wide service that is hosted by Wishaw Locality and it includes the following professional groups:
- Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (Child and Family Clinics)
- Community Children’s Nursing Team
- Paediatric In-patient Unit (Wards 19 and 20, Wishaw General Hospital)
- School Nurses Special Schools
The aim of the service is to provide high quality, child-centred, seamless care to children and their families. Please explore our site to find out more information.
