Information for the Public
It can be hard to find information you need at the right time, especially if you’re a busy parent or carer.
Parent Club has a directory that gives you information and organisations who can support you. It covers topics such as
- health and wellbeing
- children’s rights
- education
- money advice
- help with housing
- bereavement support

If you are:
- a child or young person looking for mental health support or
- a parent or carer trying to find the right help for your child
then the Services and Resources Directory | NHS Lanarkshire can help you find what’s available in Lanarkshire.
The Children and Young Peoples Commissioner for Scotland is Nicola Killean.
Nicola and her team protect the human rights of children and young people. She makes sure the laws that affect children’s lives are fair and that children can grow up with happiness, love and understanding.

Get support with ALISS and Locator!
ALISS is a website where you can find local services and groups that offer help, support and mentoring. You can also use it to find learning opportunities throughout Scotland.
Locator focuses on charity and community (third sector) services. It’s mainly for South Lanarkshire, but it also includes some services in North Lanarkshire. This lets you see the support that is available in the region.
